About this photo

For an Ontario Photo Card photo, the ServiceOntario sets the print size at 50 x 70 mm. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 49 to 56 mm on the print. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. The ServiceOntario takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. The Ontario Photo Card photo comes back sized, with a clean background and a head-size check, before you are asked to pay.
