About this photo

The BC Services Card photo accepted by the Government of British Columbia is a 50 by 70 mm portrait. Frame it so the head takes 49 to 56 mm of the 70 mm height. There is no upload step: the photo is handed in as a print with the paper application. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. The Government of British Columbia takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. We make the BC Services Card photo to this specification from your own picture and show you the result before you pay.
