About this photo
The IRCC asks for a Canadian Citizenship (Grant) photo of 50 by 70 mm. IRCC requires a commercial photographer or studio and does not accept photos that are cropped, placed on a new background or otherwise altered. Use a plain white or light-coloured background with nothing behind you and no shadow on the wall. If you apply online (IRCC online citizenship application), the file must be at least 420 by 540 pixels, as a JPEG, no larger than 4 MB. Taken no more than 6 months before you apply. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 31 to 36 mm on the print. Our service frames the Canadian Citizenship (Grant) photo to these measurements, cleans the background and checks it against the rules before any payment.
