About this photo

Applying through the Service Tasmania? The Tasmanian Personal Information Card photo it wants measures 35 by 45 mm. Applicants attend a Service Tasmania centre and have the photo taken there. The Service Tasmania takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. Use a plain white or light grey or off-white background with nothing behind you and no shadow on the wall. Applications are made with printed photos, so you need a physical copy rather than an upload. Head height from chin to crown is 32 to 36 mm. From a phone picture we produce the Tasmanian Personal Information Card photo at this size and verify the framing against the Service Tasmania rules.
