About this photo
The Veterans Railcard photo accepted by the Rail Delivery Group is a 35 by 45 mm portrait. A white or light grey or off-white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. A photo taken at home with a phone is fine provided it meets these rules; ask someone else to take it at eye level. A passport-style photo of the veteran and of any named companion, uploaded online or sent with the postal form. If you apply online (Rail Delivery Group online application), the file must be as a JPEG, no larger than 5 MB. Head height from chin to crown is 32 to 36 mm.
