About this photo
The Singapore Work Permit photo accepted by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is a 35 by 45 mm portrait. During registration MOM captures the worker's fingerprints and takes their photo. The background must be plain white, evenly lit and free of shadows. Applications are made with printed photos, so you need a physical copy rather than an upload. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 32 to 36 mm on the print. The Ministry of Manpower takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. From a phone picture we produce the Singapore Work Permit photo at this size and verify the framing against the Ministry of Manpower rules.
