About this photo

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) asks for a Singapore Employment Pass Card photo of 35 by 45 mm. Head height from chin to crown is 32 to 36 mm. There is no upload step: the photo is handed in as a print with the paper application. The Ministry of Manpower takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. Behind you: plain white, lit evenly so no shadow falls on the face or the wall. No photo in the application; MOM captures fingerprints and takes the photo at the card registration appointment. The Singapore Employment Pass Card photo comes back sized, with a clean background and a head-size check, before you are asked to pay.
