About this photo
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (Sarathi, state transport departments) asks for an Indian Driving Licence photo of 35 by 45 mm. Your head should fill 70 to 80 percent of the frame height. Home photos are accepted when they follow the rules, so a well-lit phone picture taken by someone else works. If you apply online (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in), the file must be as a JPEG, no larger than 50 KB. Passport size photograph. Behind you: plain white, lit evenly so no shadow falls on the face or the wall. Upload your picture and we size it for the Indian Driving Licence, replace the background and verify the proportions before checkout.
