About this photo
For a TWIC Card photo, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) sets the print size at 51 x 51 mm. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. Frame it so the head takes 36 to 41 mm of the 51 mm height. The Transportation Security Administration takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. The background must be plain white, evenly lit and free of shadows. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. From a phone picture we produce the TWIC Card photo at this size and verify the framing against the Transportation Security Administration rules.
