About this photo
For a Nigerian Visa photo, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) sets the print size at 35 x 45 mm. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. The upload for evisa.immigration.gov.ng needs to be as a JPEG, no larger than 999 KB. Home photos are accepted when they follow the rules, so a well-lit phone picture taken by someone else works. Must contain the face clearly. The face takes 70 to 80 percent of the image, chin to crown. From a phone picture we produce the Nigerian Visa photo at this size and verify the framing against the Nigeria Immigration Service rules.
