About this photo

The CitizenCard asks for a Post Office PASS Card photo of 35 by 45 mm. You can take it at home on a phone: have someone stand a couple of metres away at eye level rather than holding the phone yourself. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. Online, CitizenCard online application takes an upload at least 640 by 480 pixels, as a JPEG, no larger than 25 MB. Use a plain light grey or cream or off-white background with nothing behind you and no shadow on the wall. Frame it so the head takes 32 to 36 mm of the 45 mm height. We make the Post Office PASS Card photo to this specification from your own picture and show you the result before you pay.
