About this photo

An Ontario Driver's Licence photo for the ServiceOntario is 50 by 70 mm when printed. The photo is taken at a ServiceOntario centre, a new one about every 10 years. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. The ServiceOntario takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 49 to 56 mm on the print. Applications are made with printed photos, so you need a physical copy rather than an upload. We crop your picture to the Ontario Driver's Licence format, set the background and check the head size before you pay.
