About this photo
Nigerian Passport photos are printed at 35 by 45 mm, the size the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) works with. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. Frame it so the head takes 32 to 36 mm of the 45 mm height. Applicants also attend an Immigration office for photo and biometric capture. You can take it at home on a phone: have someone stand a couple of metres away at eye level rather than holding the phone yourself. Behind you: plain white, lit evenly so no shadow falls on the face or the wall. Our service frames the Nigerian Passport photo to these measurements, cleans the background and checks it against the rules before any payment.
