About this photo

The IRCC asks for a Canadian PR Confirmation Portal Photo photo of 50 by 70 mm. Frame it so the head takes 31 to 36 mm of the 70 mm height. Taken within the last 12 months. If you apply online (IRCC online application), the file must be at least 2000 by 2800 pixels, as a JPEG, no larger than 4 MB. The IRCC expects a photo of studio quality, so take it carefully: someone else holding the phone, daylight from the front, no selfie. Behind you: plain white, lit evenly so no shadow falls on the face or the wall. Upload your picture and we size it for the Canadian PR Confirmation Portal Photo, replace the background and verify the proportions before checkout.
