About Us

PhotoPass ID was created to make passport and visa photos simple, fast, and accessible from anywhere.

Traditionally, getting a passport photo required visiting a photo studio, pharmacy, or photo booth. Many people still face the inconvenience of travelling to a location, waiting in line, or struggling to find a printer.

PhotoPass ID solves this problem by allowing users to create compliant passport-style photos directly from their phone. Using smart image processing and official photo guidelines, our platform helps convert a regular photo into a format suitable for passport, visa, and other official applications.

Our goal is to provide a convenient digital-first solution that allows people to generate passport photos in minutes without leaving their home.

Our Commitment

PhotoPass ID is an independent service and is not affiliated with any government authority. Final acceptance of photos depends on the authority reviewing the application. We format photos according to widely published official guidelines to give you the best chance of acceptance.

Our Technology

We use automated image processing to crop and resize photos to the dimensions and head size each document type requires, and to replace the background. Facial features are never altered. Our system helps improve lighting, background clarity, and alignment — while never modifying facial features or identity. The goal is simply to present your photo in the correct format.
