About this photo
The Nigerian Passport (Child) photo accepted by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) is a 35 by 45 mm portrait. Photo and biometrics are also captured at the Immigration office. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. A photo taken at home with a phone is fine provided it meets these rules; ask someone else to take it at eye level. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. The face takes 70 to 80 percent of the image, chin to crown. From a phone picture we produce the Nigerian Passport (Child) photo at this size and verify the framing against the Nigeria Immigration Service rules.
