About this photo
The Department of Immigration and Emigration, Sri Lanka (overseas missions) asks for a Sri Lankan Passport photo of 35 by 45 mm. Applications are made with printed photos, so you need a physical copy rather than an upload. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 31.5 to 36.0 mm on the print. 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, close-up of the head and top of the shoulders, face 70-80% of the photo. A white or light blue or light grey background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. Inside Sri Lanka the Department of Immigration and Emigration takes the photo through an authorised photo studio that uploads it directly, and printed photos are not accepted. Send us any clear picture and you get a Sri Lankan Passport photo at these measurements, background included, checked before checkout.
