About this photo

An US Federal Firearms License (ATF Form 7) photo for the ATF is 51 by 51 mm when printed. You can take it at home on a phone: have someone stand a couple of metres away at eye level rather than holding the phone yourself. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. A white or light grey or off-white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 25 to 35 mm on the print. We crop your picture to the US Federal Firearms License (ATF Form 7) format, set the background and check the head size before you pay.
