About this photo
The SIA Licence photo accepted by the Security Industry Authority is a 35 by 45 mm portrait. A white background is accepted, as long as it is uniform and without pattern. The Post Office or your employer takes the photo during the identity check; only in some situations does the SIA ask you to upload one. Frame it so the head takes 32 to 36 mm of the 45 mm height. The Security Industry Authority takes your photo at the counter when you apply, so a photo of your own is usually not needed for this document. Applications are made with printed photos, so you need a physical copy rather than an upload. Our service frames the SIA Licence photo to these measurements, cleans the background and checks it against the rules before any payment.
