About this photo

For an UK Personal Alcohol Licence photo, the Local licensing authority sets the print size at 35 x 45 mm. This one is still a paper process, which means printed photos and no online upload. The background must be plain white or light grey or off-white, evenly lit and free of shadows. You can take it at home on a phone: have someone stand a couple of metres away at eye level rather than holding the phone yourself. Taken within the last 6 months. Head height from chin to crown is 32 to 36 mm. Upload your picture and we size it for the UK Personal Alcohol Licence, replace the background and verify the proportions before checkout.
