About this photo

For a Pakistan Origin Card (POC) photo, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) sets the print size at 35 x 45 mm. Your head should fill 70 to 80 percent of the frame height. NADRA asks for a professionally printed photo and may take your photo itself at a NADRA centre or in the Pak-ID app. Use a plain white background with nothing behind you and no shadow on the wall. Alone in the photo, uniform lighting, no shadows or red eye. If you apply online (Pak-ID (id.nadra.gov.pk)), the file must be as a JPEG, no larger than 60 KB. The Pakistan Origin Card (POC) photo comes back sized, with a clean background and a head-size check, before you are asked to pay.
