About this photo

The IRCC asks for a Canadian Citizenship Certificate photo of 50 by 70 mm. Casual selfies are refused; a phone photo taken by another person in even light, with the rules above, is what passes. Your head, chin to crown, should measure 31 to 36 mm on the print. The upload for IRCC online application needs to be at least 420 by 540 pixels, as a JPEG, no larger than 4 MB. Neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed, looking straight at the camera. Behind you: plain white, lit evenly so no shadow falls on the face or the wall. Upload your picture and we size it for the Canadian Citizenship Certificate, replace the background and verify the proportions before checkout.
